Have you have seen a golden eagle? Well, it is not golden colour as its name but even cooler than that, hold tight! We are going to land.

Where to find them?
# The Golden Eagle is found in several places north of the Equator where there are mountains.
# In India they are found in the Himalayas at a height of 1220 meters.
What is their secret of energy?
# They live in pairs, they soar majestically in pairs in air.
# They don’t flap their wings too much, but just glide in the air, In this way, they avoid tiring themselves and they can stay up for hours together.
How do they hunt?
# Each pair lives and hunts in a territory about 32 sq.km
eg; a magpie has wondered in their territory
* One of the eagle dives at terrific speed with half-folded wings reaches out with its talons and grabs the bird.
# The Dead bird is taken to a favourite eating place." Well done", his mate says.( she is larger and heavier than him.
# They pluck their prey with their hooked beaks, rip the flesh open into pieces and swallow them whole.
*But the magpie( a bird) was too small and they go again to look for more food.
They have Magic eyes and talent!
# A man looking down from a helicopter would not see anything on the ground, but the Eagles have seen a rabbit.
# They can see well even from a distance of 250 metres.
As it is large and heavy, it is the female bird, who dives this time.
She decides rapidly, and approach .....takes her prey by surprise. The grip of her deadly talons kills the rabbit at once.
What kind of way they do things?
# She covers the prey with her wings. she is not trying to hide it from anyone. it's the common practice among eagles to cover their prey with their eating place and both she and her mate have a food feed.
# After eating they scratch their beak clean on the bark of a tree. this scratching keeps their beaks harp too.
# # Facts about them
# About 6-8 hours after the meal, they throw the bones and fur or feathers of their prey out through the mouth, in the form of a pellet. ( they should not be mistaken for droppings)
# as you know, Golden Eagles are great hunters. but when food is scarce, they don't hesitate dead animals in the company of vultures.
# In late March they fly in a particular manner or style. It's their breeding season, both of them, but especially the male, do acrobatics in the air.
* sometimes the male may toes a bird he has caught to the female ( like a pass we give in basketball)
* sometimes they may interlock claws and spiral downwards.
* They use the same eyrie( nest) for years and years. But every Breeding season they add a few more twigs to it.
More Facts!
# The female Lays two eggs,
* then she and her mate proceed to hatch them. However, it is the female who sits on the eggs most of the time.
The eggs hatch in about 40 days.
The chicks are gluttonous. For the first few days, their parents put food into their mouths..., but later they bring half-deadly prey and give lessons to the young ones on how to use their talons and beaks.
Then comes lessons in flying and hunting. This period( about a year) is a difficult task for young eagles.
# once the training period is over, The young ones leave their parents and their territory and the bond between them and their parents is broken forever.
Ohh gosh! I guess that was kind of rude and unfamily anyways we are not at all relatable o them in some ways.
LAST BIT!
# In olden days, shepherds of central Asia used to keep trained golden eagles.
# These eagles were used to drive away wolves.
These are some of the amazing facts about GOLDEN EAGLES, do you have any similarities with them? ( except the hunting styles that they have) if yes, then smash that like button gently and write your thing in the comment box.
Thank you
